Verify any record yourself, with no login and no trust in Commodex: call /api/chain/verify/<event_id>. It recomputes the SHA-256 leaf from the live record, folds the Merkle proof to the block root, and checks the blocks link back to genesis. Alter any anchored record and the hashes stop matching — tampering is mathematically detectable. This chain is INTERNAL and self-contained: verification is pure SHA-256 over records Commodex serves, and no block has been anchored to a public network (all 0 of 3 blocks carry an external reference). Private commercial terms would never be placed on a public chain in any case; only proofs.
